I have been gone for a long time. But it didn’t feel that long. I didn’t get homesick.
Emily’s house has become a second home to me. Her futon even became comfortable.

Train Adventure - Chemult to Oakland
Yesterday I took the train home to California. The closest train station to Bend is in Chemult. I had been warned about this being a hick town, but didn’t know how much it really was. First of all, the train station was basically a wooded ramp that led up to a wooden platform. It had a dirt parking lot and that was it.
