One of my favorite kids is leaving for Switzerland and I couldn’t get him to the next ribbon level because of Eelin and Eelan. Eelan still can’t swim 10 feet without sticking her face up. Now I never get to teach Max again and he won’t learn turtle breaths.
I have more Shirley Temple drink supplies than I know what to do with.
I watched some movies. And ate.
Went to go return a birthday present for Kate. I got a sweater. It’s pretty cute.
Started my Angry Bird awards. I’m sleepy so I won’t finish them.
San Francisco tomorrow for ball venue. Get to take public transportation. Someone might as well sneeze on me know so I get the germs out of the way.
Valentines day is the day I buy 40 carpi suns and write something nice on the back and hand them out to my lovely leadership classmates.
This day is all about love but some of the things I saw girls toting around make me cringe. I like flowers. I think they are a beautiful gesture. I also think that giant teddy bears and huge heart mylars are tacky. If love is so personal I can’t see these generic couples going anywhere. If you really love someone and want to show them you care, you don’t go into the Valentines Day isle, point somewhere and buy whatever you pointed at for your love. I don’t know. Its a cop out.
I hope all you lovely realtionshippers had a nice day and felt all mushy and springy inside. I’d like to feel that one day.
There is no point in having a blog if all you do is reblog everyone else in my opinion. Sure, share what you like and things you think are cool, but so much of this stuff is all pretty edited photos, GIFs and junk you can find on 749385094 other teenage blogs. Its nice to see what the people behind the buttons think, create, and feel.
Elementary school Mother+Son dance. It was probably the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Little boys dressed in 50s clothes, dancing, performing yoyo tricks, and being really really cute. I picked out all of my children.
My dad went to Japan for 2 weeks.
Reffed my dad’s and my own team’s last basketball game. The kids are so cute. I’m really going to miss them.
Saw the ASL show with Jane. It was a really good show, despite being told it was their worst one. I teared up. It was sad not being one of the seniors up there. It really made graduation seem so close.
Basketball celebration. The entire league gathered at the Canyon and ate pizza, gave out awards, had free throw contests, and all that good stuff. Was not needed for the coaches game, thank you Jesus. Our whole team sat on the side line floor, laughing with Jessica and I while we watched and cheered Kyle in the Senior vs Coaches game. They are a great group of kids.
Sunday morning I had my usually Swim classes for 3 hours. I had a 20 minute Jamba Juice break before I had got to sit there for 4 hours listening to the boss talk and talk and talk about classes. There was a lot of story telling, tangents, and unrealistic generalizations.
So our kids basketball team is called the Angry Birds and we wanted to give each kid a bird to match their personality. I can’t afford full price so I started bidding and it was such a rush. Even though I only went up $2 I FELT SO ALIVE. But yeah. I bought 6 angry birds.
