I don’t know. People were stoked. I was not.

Leave for Oregon in 7 hours.

I’ll start packing. 

Here’s the thing with book characters. They aren’t real, but they have to be relatable, or something about them has to connect with something familiar. An entire book should not consist of all of your quirkiest friends and adventures. It’s the little things in a story that make it real. There can be a single sentence describing something and if I know exactly what they mean, then the story becomes more real. A book isn’t a sit-com full of personalities, but a story. A story is supposed to tell you something and if you can never connect with the story then any message there may have been is lost. If every character is so quirky or so beyond the grasp of relatability  then the story failed. I don’t know. It just annoys me. It’s probably why I love somebooks and hate others. There isn’t much of a story without the people in it. 

• Got back from Europe a few days ago. It was perfect. More blogging shall follow.
• Slept as soon as I got home, woke up 10 at night and ate, then passed out again.
• Bought a new laptop. It’s a floor model so its a little cheaper. yolo. But its beautiful.
• Saw leadership for Tennis Tuesdays. :) They are good people.
• Mini-Adventure with Kelsey. The wind took us to Bed Bath and Beyond and we bought lots of tiny samples.
• Swim lessons today. Teaching kids was good. Then sat around with a bunch of moms and tried to avoid eye contact with everyone I knew there. I need more friends. I should also exercise because I’m really embarrassed of myself. 
• Started going through Europe pictures. I have around 800. This might take awhile.
